Netflix ‘The Get Down’ Explores the Birthplace of Hip-Hop

Netflix is adding another element to their original series catalog to kicking off 2016. The streaming service teased fans with its latest project ‘The Get Down‘. The upcoming series will explore the progression of the South Bronx and its culture such as music, community, nightlife and much more through the eyes of its youth.

The Get Down is a mythic saga of the transformation of 1970s New York City.
