Speaking on the song and it’s inspiration, Bob explained “In Toronto where I reside marijuana is now legal and my short term goal is to open my own Dispensary in the near future providing the highest pre-packaged cannabis. It basically talks about how successful I am as a hustler or how successful one can be distributing the pharmaceutical.”

ABOUT BOB DA BUILDA
Influenced by the sounds of Lt. Stitchie, Super Cat, Ninja Man, Papa San and Major Mackerel, Builda has always been fascinated with instrumentals and drum patterns from the production of King Jammy and Sly & Robby. The following decades provided more influences such as Bounty Killer and And Vybz Kartel just to name a few, but it wasn’t until High School where he actually started to own his talent as an artist/producer. As a Student of St Jago High School, * BobDA Don Builda *alongside his friends would write, record and make riddims to their songs at school which was where a young Builda would realize his potential to become a musician. After High School Bob Migrated to Canada. Not long after, he Co founded the group Don Dem and started recording profesionally in 2010, establishing himself as a lyrical power house. Five years later, in 2015 Builda alongside a fellow Don Dem member was Nominated for the highest musical award one can receive in Canada. The Prestigious, Juno Award for reggae recording of the year.
