Dyum Poised For Major Musical Breakthrough

Fast-rising dancehall artiste Dyum has been steadily climbing the musical ladder and according to several musical pundits he is poised for a major local and international breakthrough. The entertainer who recently scored his first internationally charted album, was featured on Onstage TV and received commendations from legendary broadcaster Winford Williams about his new single entitled, Portland Gyal.

“I feel very grateful for the support from the industry, the fans and my team. I can literally see my vision taking shape in real time. I am hoping that my Portland Gyal song can become a chart topper and I hope to capture the local and international markets,” Dyum stated.

The Kingston native was also featured on Thefix as well as on countless social media platforms. The singjay recently released his debut album entitled “Voice Inside” which peaked at number six on the USA Itunes Chart. According to the artiste his current focus is on promoting his “Portland Gyal” single which has an eye catching music video with a beauty queen as his co star.

“The Visuals for Portland Gyal are special and it will be out on all major digital platforms on August 11, 2026. I just want the fans to go and stream it because I promise they won’t be disappointed,” Dyum stated.

Currently, Dyum is kept busy balancing his studies in cybersecurity and his musical career. He travels between Jamaica and the United States weekly to honor musical and Educational pursuits. According to Dyum, it is very challenging, but his military background has helped him to strike a balance.

“As a ex soldier in am used to having to move at a fast pace and maintain discipline which is why I am actually able to balance a booming music career and school at the same time. I cannot deny that it is challenging but nothing worthwhile is ever easy,” Dyum stated.
