Artist Daniel John is quickly sparking the interest of musical pundits locally and internationally with his hybrid sound and epic writing skills. The singer who describes his sound as a melting pot of Reggae, R&B, Pop, and Hip Hop says he is feeling extremely confident about the prospects of his latest single, entitled “Mixed Signals,” becoming a mainstream hit. The artist says he has already created his niche within the female fanbase.

“When I put pen to paper, I try to tackle relatable topics and deliver my content in a creative way. My latest single, entitled Mixed Signals, is a deep track, but I think the attention to detail in terms of the structure of the song is what makes it stick in the mind of the listener. I don’t just write. I paint a picture with words, “ stated the eloquent artiste Daniel John.

The artist, who is currently based in the United States, grew up in a musical family. As the son of a recording artist and producer, John says he was destined to become an artist because he caught the musical bug at a tender age.

“My dad was a former reggae artist and is currently a producer. When I was a kid, I remember seeing him playing the keyboard in the basement and handing out his mixtapes at the block parties. He also put the alto sax in my hand and I’ve been playing since I was 6. I was always musically inclined playing in the band all throughout grade school, but I didn’t start taking music seriously until about 2017 when I told my dad that I wanted to make a song with and for him. The first song I ever made was called Hello Dad, and the rest is history, “ stated Daniel John.

Currently, the artist is busy promoting his “Mixed Signals” single as well as recording for a plethora of producers.
