UK-based dancehall artist Drip Rick VI is on the verge of becoming the next dancehall star. Fueled by a cluster of singles, including collaborations with the likes of Byron Messia and Intence, his name is definitely ringing in musical circles locally and internationally. According to Drip Rick VI, he believes the catchy and smooth melodies used by both Byron Messia and himself on their collaborative effort have given the song an edge.
“It’s easy to sing along to and the flow sick at the same time. The vibe was right from jump and it’s working. It’s exciting watching the song grow naturally. I feel like it’s gonna chart very soon, “ stated Drip Rick VI.
The UK-based deejay has several other singles that are also doing very well, including “Rule Book“ and “Ghetto Ute,” which features dancehall star Intense. According to the artist, Rule Book is the second single off his latest EP entitled “VI” and is one of his best songs.
“Rule Book is a classic in the making because it is not just a song it is a life guide. I wrote that song from a deep mental and emotional space with the aim of motivating the youths because they are the future,” Drip Rick VI stated.
Currently, Drip Rick VI is busy promoting his new EP entitled “VI,” which features 10 tracks, including his collaborative effort with Byron Messia entitled “NBA 2” (Killy Dem).
