Newcomer Kyro theEgypshxn debuts on US iTunes Reggae Chart
Denham Town grown, Kyro theEgypshxn, is a newly minted debutant on the US iTunes Reggae Singles Chart with his latest track called “Tremendous”. Breaking in at number 50 on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, the song quickly rose up in rank, landing at number 23 in a matter of hours.
“Tremendous” is a production of NY-based label Rude Boyz Music Group (RBMG), who is also managing Kyro. It was released on May 29 and caught the attention of several prospective interviewers from the get-go. Though off to a slow start, Kyro and his team, which comprises of Tekka Da Boss from RBMG as his manager and Jamaica-based Lesley Hayles as his PR, never lost hope. They kept the pace on promotion and, with the aid of American marketing company Ejor Media Group, was able to get the support needed to amp up sales.
The climax of accomplishing this feat came to a head when “Tremendous” finally charted, debuting at number 50 and peaking at number 21 by day’s end. Whilst never breaking into the top 20, Kyro is still grateful for all the positive energy he’s received thus far that allowed him to chart so early in his career. The former Wolmerian is ecstatic about his placement but was just as excited about it when “Tremendous” debuted at number 50.
“When me see it [at 50], mi smile yuh fret!” said an elated Kyro. “Big up everybody who made it possible,” he continued.
Kyro is over the moon and this indelible moment will forever be the stepping stone of an illustrious career of a remarkable individual who is determined to continue ascending to the pinnacle of the dancehall industry. Kyro theEgypshxn is “Tremendous”.
