Don Cornelius, the silken-voiced host of Soul Train who helped break down racial barriers and broaden the reach of black culture with funky music, groovy dance steps and cutting-edge style, has died of an apparent suicide. Popular dancehall deejay Elephant Man has been taken into police custody and is being questioned by detectives from the Centre for Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA). Officials from CISOCA said the entertainer, whose real name is Oniel Bryan, was being questioned in relation to a number of sexual based allegations.
