Chino's Japan Album Debuts At Number 7 Spot

(Kingston, Jamaica) — There’s no doubt the Japanese market is feeling Reggae/Dancehall artiste Chino. So much so, his sophomore Japan album, Never Change, has debuted in the number 7 spot on the iTunes Japan Reggae Album Chart.


The album which was released today,(Wednesday), has been stirring excitement as early as two months ago in Japan with top downloads on a number of prestigious ringtone websites. With the highly-anticipated album now out, featuring the Japanese rendition of the hit, From Mawning, Chino, whose correct name is Daniel McGregor says, “So far we’ve been getting a great response in Japan and as we increase the promotion I know the fans will love the songs on the album and the overall vibe. I’ll be in Japan soon to do a promotional tour and get up close with the fans.”

Chino performs at Reggae Sumfest’s Dancehall tomorrow night, Catherine Hall, Montego Bay.
