DJ Mario Heating Up Suncity Radio

(Kingston, Jamaica) For fast-rising 23-year-old disc jock Mario O’Neil Wedderburn more popularly known as DJ Mario Mr. Focused the journey to become a resident DJ on Jamaica’s newest radio station Suncity 104.9fm was a dream come through.

A die-hard lover of music Mario began developing his mixing skills while attending Wolmers High School and from there his reputation as a budding jock began to grow. Confident in his ability to succeed Mario found influence and encouragement from veterans such as Collin Hinds of FAME 95FM, DJ Karyzma, DJ Shine of Hit Factory Sound, selector Tony Matterhorn, and Delano of Renaissance Disco for which he was recently drafted to be a part of.

With a strong support base in his family Mario dedicates his current success to his mother. “Beyond doubt, my mother has been my #1 motivator. She is the backbone of all that I do and without her this journey would not be possible”. Currently managed by Sherilla Gordon, DJ Mario can be heard on Suncity 104.9FM on Tuesdays from 6-10 pm and Thursdays from 2-6pm.
