With his conscious lyrics and flow, emerging Canadian Artist King Mee has left Montreal crowds and fans engaged and requesting more. Though still with his band, Fiyah Flamez Unit, who released the album “Fiyah Flamez Unit Vol.1, last summer he has also been focusing on solo works. The album can be purchased on Itunes directly on www.yuhseeyou.com.
Recently King Mee has been on Montreal’s hottest riddim “Give Luv” with other Montreal talents such as Mello G and IJah. The new single “Nuff People” is a true representation of the kind of message this artist is trying to send out to the people, most importantly reaching out to the youth. The song was written, King Mee explains, while watching CNN observing the situations in Afghanistan and what has been going on in Africa over the years. With strong lyrical content like “Nuff dying to live, when most are living to die”, it explains our livity and how we take advantage of the opportunities we have compared to third world countries.
The artist has been working hard on several new singles with different Jamaican and Canadian producers such as well known camp Bold and Boasy, who has worked with artists such as Iley Dread in the past.
Though King Mee’s talent surely lies in songwriting, singing, and performances that are full of vibes, he has recently played his part in co-producing a new compilation riddim along side Bold and Boasy Entertainment with artists such as Iley Dread, Signer Judah, Mello G, Won-J. Dan Fiyah Beats, and King Mee himself with his single “Life To Live”. The compilation album is due to release in the near future. Keep watching for this artist as he makes his impact on the scene and expect nothing but the best from this artist in the future.
