British singer/rapper Estelle has scooped five top nominations for the U.K.’s Urban Music Awards, including nods for Best R&B Act and Best Collaboration for her hit single “American Boy.”

The star teamed up with rap superstar Kanye West for the chart smash, and the song catapulted her into the spotlight earlier this year.

And her efforts have won her recognition for Best Crossover Chart Act, Most Inspiring Act, and Best Album for Shine.

But Estelle will face competition from “Bleeding Love” hitmaker Leona Lewis in two categories – Best Album for her debut Spirit, and Best R&B Act.

Meanwhile, Mark Ronson is nominated for Best Producer; Amy Winehouse, Duffy and Corinne Bailey Rae will fight it out for Best Neo Soul Act; and Kevin Lyttle, Shaggy and Spragga Benz are up for Best Reggae Act.

Other stars to receive nods at this year’s ceremony include rappers Sway, Kano, Akala, and Roots Manuva for Best Hip Hop Act; Basement Jaxx and Booty Luv for Best Dance Act; and Roll Deep and N-Dubz for Best Group.

The winners, voted for entirely by the public, will be announced on November 15 when the prizes are handed out at London’s O2 Arena.
