Iyara & Toledo Records New Collab In Spanish

Alliance deejay Eric Sommers more popularly known as Iyara recently completed his portion of work on a brand new collaboration entitled “Mamasita” alongside Costa Rican based dancehall / reggae recording artist Toledo.

Iyara who is known for sharp lyrics and catchy melodies however found himself learning a new language as close to 90% of the song was recorded in Spanish. “Well it was the first time I doing a song in Spanish but I took the time out and learned the words, then added my own style. Basically the song is talking about a girl “Mamasita” who is looking sexy and how I want to make her mine. Its a fun song that can breaking into the South American dancehall markets”.

Toledo who is a member of the Top A Top Recording Label is best known for his singles “I Believe In Jah”, “Enemy” and “We Don’t Romp”. “Mamasita” which was produced by Fusions / Rescue Productions made its online premier earlier this week and promotions for the song will be focus on international markets. “I want to bring my music to the world, so while we still looking the buss in Jamaica we have to make links with some other people from different countries and grow the network”. stated Iyara.

In other news Iyara is slated to performing at Rendezvous this Saturday May 1st In Trewlawy, the show will also feature Bounty Killer, Mavado and Chase Cross.
