The post-Sting songs continue to be released, with the latest being Kiprich’s ‘Coward’, which is aimed at his lyrical rivals, the Monster Empire.
Shortly after a much-talked-about performance at Sting, Kiprich is at the throats of the Monster Empire again. While the artiste had previously told the STAR that the argument, on his part, was settled at Sting, it seems it has restarted with the song Coward.
This is the second post-Sting song to be recorded. The morning after Sting, Vybz Kartel also called out his lyrical rival, Mavado, in the song Don’t Run (Last Man Standing).
In the song Coward,Kiprich deejays, “Coward cyaan tek on nuh battlefield /And coward! – Gangsta nevah evah drop shield /Coward! Den ah wha dem bwoy deh did feel? Inna war man nuh run like get-away-wheel.”
Come and run
This is not the first time Kiprich has called the Monster Empire cowards. When the STAR spoke with the artiste last week, he expressed a similar sentiment, saying: “Dem come and run. Di people come Sting this year for clash and most people know ’bout the feud between me and Monster. Lyrical battle is wah Sting deh and dem come pon TV seh dem more prepared than me ’bout me a likkle baby but di likkle baby mash dem up.”
Fans are waiting to see if the Monster Empire will be responding. When the STAR spoke with General B of the Monster Empire, he claimed to be on for the lyrical confrontation at any time.
The lyrical war between the two started in the latter part of 2008, when Kiprich recorded the track Dem Caan Cow Wi.
