Miss Jamaica Universe 2010, Ms. Yendi Phillipps Announces the Launch of The Yendi Phillips Foundation

Miss Jamaica Universe 2010, Ms. Yendi Phillipps wishes to announce the launch of The Yendi Phillips Foundation, whose primary mandate is to empower Jamaicans with information necessary to enhance their lives. The foundation’s first initiative, is to raise funds to facilitate educate and distribute vaccinations for cervical cancer to under privileged women in various communities throughout the country, by hosting an event on June 26th.

As part of the event a silent auction of pageant gowns from Ms. Phillipps’ Miss World 2007 and Miss Universe 2010 pageants will be held. The event will also showcase local designs by Carlton Brown, Jae Jolly, ASD, Kenea Linton and Julan, modeled by celebrities. Patrons will also enjoy the performances by local entertainers.
