Ne-Yo Arrested For Speeding

R&B crooner Ne-Yo was reportedly arrested earlier this week for reckless driving and driving without a valid license.

According to TMZ, the singer – real name Shaffer Smith – was arrested on Tuesday (Feb. 19) in Cobb County, Ga., outside of Atlanta. Authorities claim the singer was speeding, driving well over 100 mph in his 2006 Range Rover. Cash bond was set at $1,300.

In related news Ne-Yo’s sophomore effort, Because of You, recently took home a Grammy for Best Contemporary R&B album.
