“First of all, I have nothing against any ex of mine because even when a relationship ends, I always respect the fact that happy moments were shared. As such, I would not speak negatively about someone who I once was. However, when a person attempts to present me in a way that is not a true reflection of my character, I think it is important that clarity takes place. I am a real man, a strong man, no jelly back man suh me mek we clear that up. When cameras are pushed into the face of someone who has just came out of a serious relationship, they may say things out of hurt that may be interpreted in a negative way. But me nuh want nobody get di ting twisted she has issues with herself not me” Dyum stated.
The Ocho Rios-based entertainer says he was always the man in the relationship and at no point did he depend on her to support him financially and at no point did she grant him assistance with his musical career. The deejay says Tifa shaded him in songs, during interviews and even on stage following the breakup.
“I think for her it was all about having a young yute on her arm to show off to the media in every way. I also think she thought I was a yute who was frightened for lime light and someone she could rule, but anu so my program run and she neva like dat. But as an artiste myself i cannot allow someone to present a fake narrative about me suh who did a wonder if a suh do story guh, no a pure lies” Dyum stated.
The artist went on to elaborate that he has his own musical career and brand to protect. Dyum says he has been steadily climbing the musical ladder following the release of singles such “Yuh Nice” and “Nostalgia” which have been making the rounds on social media as well as on local and international radio stations. The artiste says he has a new single and music video entitled “Portland Gyal” set for release in the coming weeks, as well as a new album.
