Toi brings “Sunshine” to Africa

Toi, who is fast becoming the new Princess of Reggae, Dancehall & Pop music brought rays of “Sunshine” to the African continent on Tuesday August 24, 2010 when her single “Sunshine” which was released by Sean Ricketts of Calibur Entertainment in January 2010, was aired on 99.9 Beat FM in Nigeria.

“I made that happen. The people are loving it over here” says Rashid Williams who is instrumental in contacting Toi’s management team and getting the song aired. Rashid added “We love this song, this song is just love, peaceful, so eccentric, and the people have heard it on Youtube, so we wanted to have it aired on national radio for many others to hear”.

As Toi’s career continues to progress, multi-platinum producer Don Corleon released a “Love Like This” from the young singer on iTunes also on Tuesday August 24, 2010 to what was an overwhelming response. The single peaked at #2 in sales amongst the other 19 songs released on Corleon’s Major & Minor Riddim compilation double CD. “Mmmmm mi sure Toi a go buss off Minor Riddim her tune sickkkkkk, it is one of my favorites” Corleon explains. This is surely not the last we will hear a song from Toi & Corleon as the two are already working on more singles.

Toi is currently back in Florida and in the studio working on singles from producers from Jamaica, France & Germany to name a few. Much is expected from the young singer and she is committed to delivering top quality music for everyone to enjoy.
