Tony Parker Didn't Have Sex With Other Woman

Tony Parker has broken his silence about his split from Eva Longoria.

“It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Eva and I have decided to divorce,” he tweeted. “We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness.”

Sound familiar? It should. It’s same statement the Desperate Housewives star tweeted.

A source close to the hoops star now tells me…

Parker did exchange naughty texts with a fellow basketballer’s wife, but apparently that’s as far as it went.

“There was no physical relationship,” the source said. “It was just texting.”

While another source told me earlier today that Parker has been “begging for forgiveness,” the Parker pal insists it’s not entirely true.

“He knows the texting went too far,” the pal said. “He knows the marriage is over.”

The pal also said there will be no other women coming out of the woodwork. “If there are, they are lying,” the pal said. “This is not a Tiger Woods situation.”

Parker, who recently signed a gazillion-dollar deal with the San Antonio Spurs, is set to play tonight against the Chicago Bulls.

No word on whether he’ll be talking to the media in the routine post-game press conference.
