Vybz Kartel Case to be Rescheduled

Vybz Kartel did not appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court today as expected.

Kartel should have appeared on the charges of murder, conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of firearm. But when his lawyer, Christian Tavares-Finson turned up, he was told the case would not get underway today.

Director of communications at the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), Karl Angell, said Kartel was not taken to court because the case was not listed on the court docket. He said it is expected to be listed later this week.
